WW2 German gas mask canister strap
CANISTER STRAP
Reproduction made in green cotton canvas of the strap for the suspension of the cylinder for the transport of the gas mask used in the German army during the Second World War. Composed of two parts, one to be worn over the shoulder and adjustable, the other with a metal hook to fix the mask to the belt. Different types of slings were made with different combinations of material including fabric, leather and rubber.
