ABZEICHEN FUR HEERESBERGFUHRER

Reproduction of the German Army Mountain Guide Badge awarded during the Second World War to the members of the Gebirgsjager who had completed the mountain guide course and who had practiced it for a year. Established in 1936, it will cease to be assigned in 1945 and then resume in the Bundeswehr but with a different shape. A similar model was conferred in the police but of a different appearance. According to regulation it was to be worn on or below the left breast pocket, in some cases it is applied on the right side.
