German WW2 Luftwaffe officer gabardine side cap overseas - by Erel Robert Lubstein

M40 GERMAN OFFICER SIDE CAP LUFTWAFFE, MADE BY EREL OF ROBERT LUBSTEIN 

 Nice reproduction of the Luftwaffe officer's side cap, a perfect copy of the one that was privately manifacture by tailors to be used in service or on leave using fine fabrics such as gabardine. Often also used in the field, the cap is edged with a silver cord, symbol of the rank of officer, complete with the hand-embroidered cockade and the fabric is in blau grau color, the inner lining is in cotton and on the front there is a sweatband in fine leather.

 Reproduction made by Erel of Robert Lubstein the famous Berlin cap factory, carried on by his heirs. From its high quality of production and the materials used it is difficult to say whether it is a replica or a contemporary original, made with the same methodologies and the same models that the company used in the 30s and 40s.

Material: 100% wool gabardine cloth, 100% cotton inside.
