The best German wool side cap on the market, made by Erel of Robert Lubstein the famous Berlin cap factory, carried on by his heirs. From its high quality of production and the materials used it is difficult to say whether it is a replica or a contemporary original, made with the same methodologies and the same models that the company used in the 30s and 40s.
Germany again equipping itself with a war aviation in 1935, the Luftwaffe, equipped the men destined for this new weapon with a uniform in gray/blue color, similar to those of many other countries, and assigned them as service and field cap a small boat-shaped side cap with a lowerable side flap and an eagle and cockade on the front. The interior is lined in cotton.
The side cap can be completed with an eagle and cockade embroidered on blue cloth according to the models used at the time.
