Reproduction of the assoult gas mask specially designed for amphibious operations and supplied to the US Army during World War II for the landing in Normandy. Supplied to all assault formations landed by sea or airborne was made black coloured coated canvas, consisting of a main pocket and four straps hemp with hooks for suspending and roll closing with metal snaps.
