SS OFFICER COAT 1932 MODEL
The models of uniforms for the SS were different over time but certainly the black model adopted in 1932 is the most known uniform. Just as the cavalry of the Prussian kings and emperors wore black uniforms with skull and crossbones badge, so the Führer's bodyguard unit would wear the same symbols.
With the start of the war the black uniform was gradually abandoned and the combat units of the SS-Verfügungstruppe (SS-VT) and later Waffen-SS wore a variation of the gray-green military uniform (feldgrau) with SS insignia while Most SS personnel wore a variation of the Waffen-SS uniform or the gray-green SS service jacket.
The uniforms of the SS used various emblems and symbols, the most common of which were the insignia on the collar indicating the rank together with the shoulder board, cuffband on the sleeves and "rhomboid" patches to indicate belonging to specific branches of the SS.

The coat has a double placket with silver buttons and two flap-covered pockets. On the back there is the martingale and three buttons regulate the opening of the rear slit of the coat to adapt it to the riding needs. The rank shoulder board as specific of the tailoring productions for officers are sewn in the shoulder lap, internally the labels of the manufacturer are sewn and to write the name of the owner. The inner lining is in fabric reproducing rayon, or artificial silk. Made with attention to every detail, it is complete with shoulder straps. For SS model the officer eagle is attached on arm.
Each coat is free rank choose. Due to the production cost of construction and the variables, the coats are made for each order with an indicative timing of at least about 6/8 weeks.
