OLD IRONSIDES 1ST US ARMY TANK DIVISION
Reproduction of the 1st Armored Division shoulder patch of the United States Army. Formed in 1940 its nicknamed Old Ironsides, the embroidered patch was applied to the left shoulder. It took part in the North Africa campaign with a hard fight with the most experienced German armored units. It later took part in the Italian campaign until the surrender of the Axis forces in May 1945.
