IRON CROSS IST CLASS 1957 MODEL
High quality reproduction of the Iron Cross Ist class, Eisernes Kreuz I Klasse, the model adopted by German Federal Republic in 1957 for the Seconds World War veteras and who provide service again in the new army the Bundeswehr and approved with a specific regolation. This model is without swastika or any nazi symbol. The cross was applied to the center of the left pocket top of each decoration and was awarded by an officer during a formal ceremony if there was an opportunity and was always accompanied by the relevant certificate.
Award criteria:
- the soldier had to distinguished for at least 3 times in acts of courage and remarkable actions in front of the enemy (make 3 times what was needed to get the Cross of Iron II ^ cl.);
- Kreigsmarine and Luftwaffe were applying criteria of tonnage and number of culls.
